Project Landing is a non-profit organisation with a mission to inspire and guide newcomers through the process of discovering, making sense of and relating to the new physical environment they now call their new home. We do it through:
- Expeditions. We have formed a team of passionate experts and volunteers which are eager to share their experience, skills and knowledge about the land and local environment. The project is first and foremost a mutual learning experience where each participant is also seen and respected as an expert in his/her own right, with his/her own unique perspective, experience, skills and knowledge. So the stuff and participants are actually one team. Together they embark on a journey of rediscovering the ancient and new unique ways of understanding and relating to the place;
- Documentaries and interviews. We intend to engage film for bringing awareness of the need of rediscovering the relationship between the human and the place. We will urge the participants and prominent figures to share their inspiring experiences and stories on camera. The central questions are ‘why’ and ‘how’ to establish a nourishing relationship with the place in these uncertain and uprooted times we live in;
- Scientific research. We will encourage, support and initiate scientific research of the subject.
